Ingredients

  • 1 cupLong-Grain White Rice
  • 2 cupsWater
  • 8 ozZucchini
  • 6 ozTomato
  • 2 tbspBasil
  • 1 tbspOlive Oil

Instructions

  1. Rinse the Long-Grain White Rice when appropriate. Combine it with the Water and half of the Table Salt, bring to a boil, cover, and cook for about 18 minutes until tender.
  2. Wash and prepare the Zucchini and Tomato under running water when applicable, keep leafy greens separate from raw meat and poultry, and drain and rinse canned ingredients.
  3. Heat the Olive Oil in a skillet and cook the Zucchini, Tomato, Basil, and remaining Table Salt until tender and hot.
  4. Fold the cooked vegetables and seasonings into the Long-Grain White Rice and serve the pilaf hot.
